Diagnostic Inspections

Residential heating and cooling systems are complex and could break or degrade in a number of ways. Nothing is more inconvenient and potentially dangerous than your heating or cooling system going out during harsh winter or summer months. We include a diagnostic inspection with every residential service that we perform, but we also understand if you’d like to get a second opinion. You can request just a diagnostic inspection if you aren’t in a rush to fix your system. Williams A/C will send out a tech and do a multiple point inspection of your system to tell you, what the problem is and how we recommend fixing it.

  • Diagnostic inspections can take up to one hour. The goal of this inspection is to catch all potential issues to avoid surprises on your final service invoice. A Williams A/C & Heating technician will document all of their findings and present them to you in a clear concise document.

  • Diagnostic inspections are $115 if purchased independently of a service call. They are included in the cost of a same day service call or any other service performed by a Williams A/C & Heating technician.*

  • A stand alone diagnostic inspection could be good for you if you suspect that your A/C or Heating system is not performing as expected but has not gone out yet.

It may also be a good choice for you if you are considering other HVAC service companies. You can get a diagnostic inspection from Williams A/C & Heating to compare findings and make the best choice for your home maintenance.

* A same day service is a service that is completed as scheduled on the date and time it was scheduled for. Invoices are generated at the conclusion of each scheduled service and a diagnostic inspection is required each time a Williams A/C & Heating Technician begins a new job as defined by the generation of a new invoice.
